Stephens Scholarship Fund Scholarship 2018  Deadline July 2, 2018

The Stephens Scholarship was established in 2013 to honor the memory of Kenneth James Stephens by providing financial support to deserving young people studying for a career in a field related to the Earth Sciences or Construction. The Edmond Amateis Foundation has scholarship funds available for local students with financial need, as determined by income eligibility guidelines as established by USDA for reduced lunch. Aaron Strong Perseverance Scholarship:  Application due by March 31, 2018

Scholarship of $718 each.  We will be awarding one scholarship to a Lake County High School student, and one additional that is open to all counties, and a Scholarship for a College Freshman.   

The scholarship we offer is for students who have been facing adversity, but have successfully confronted it and still managed to stay on track for graduation.   

Why $718 you may ask?  The number 18 is significant to the Aaronstrong Foundation as our Executive Director and Founder, David Bultema lost a son to Trisomy 18 which is a genetic disorder that caused the 18th chromosome to split into 3 instead of two. This is a life threatening disorder which we are trying to bring awareness to.
